Sept Oct combined post

 These were good months. In term of writing as well as travelling. Had a nice vacation outside of my country for seven days, and enjoyed it a lot.

For the writing, I've almost finished book 8, but paused on it for a while as I've to finalize the book 7 publication that is due this month end. So far this one is the biggest book of the series, counting 149k words. It's a huge book.

In the month of Sept I wrote 84905 words, and in month of Oct I wrote 61456 words. Not bad for a month with a week long trip.

So far the total count for the year is 516958 words. Yuy! Reached 500k mark.

For publishing, I've published a short story in the Path of Lazy Immortal World. It's on sale for 0.99$ until next month so grab it now.

July August Combined Post

 Posting the combined update for July and August.

July was a good month in writing and I managed to write 68201 words, but August took a nose dive and I could only manage 37466 words. Well, given it was a release month it was okay.

Now back to the books news. Book 6 is released and you can buy it on amazon from below link.

War of Clans (Path of Lazy Immortal Book 6)

Book 7 is back from editor and good to be published at the end of Nov. There would be two short stories I'd be publishing along with that in the same universe, and I'm also writing book 8 right now and it's mostly complete. However, I need to find a new editor for that book as my old one couldn't continue due to some life challenges. So, its publication date that was set in early 2023 might get a bit delayed.

There would be a surprise novel release soon set in the same universe, and I might publish it on RR this time. RR is royal read.

Now going back to finish book 8 and then move into book 9.

The total word count for this year is 370597.

Reincarnation (Path of Lazy Immortal Book 1)

May and June combined post

 I was busy in many things, so combining the May and June updates in one post.

Well, May was good. I got out of the low word count I had for the first four months and wrote 43519 words. Most of it was for book 7, and I continued writing that in June and the word count came to 55540. (I can say from today that the book is complete, and it's the biggest book I've ever written. 145k words)

Okay, I also had a book 5 release at the end of May, and I've book 6 back from my editor, and I need to go through the edits, add some details, and then proof read and then finally publish it in the Aug end.

Meanwhile, I'm working on something special and I might release that by July end. You'll hear about it in my next blog, or you can join my mailing list to get the details earlier.

It's going to be fun, and I can only hint that it's in the Path of Lazy Immortal world.

March and April combined post

 Got busy, so the March and April updates are late.

March was okay, and April was kind of okay I guess. I only managed to write 72591 words in those two months, and most of the time went for book 6th edit. Good news, it's with my editor now and it's scheduled for the August release, or little before that.

The book 5 is getting ready for the release, and I'd be uploading the final copy and cover in couple of days.

Currently I'm working on book 7 and it's going nicely.

So far the total word count for the year is 165871 words.

Five Firmament City (Path of Lazy Immortal Book 5)

Jan and Feb, months of release preparation

 Okay, I missed writing about Jan, so I'm combining both posts into one.

January was good. I managed to write 54614 words of Lazy Immortal Book 6, and then moved bunch of it to next book, and started adding some more.

February was a release month, so I spent most of my time in editing book 5, and proof reading book 4. I won't give any excuse, and I only wrote 38666 words in Lazy Immortal Book 6.

The book is not complete yet, but I'm nearing the end and hopefully will complete it this month.

Book 5 is with editor, and I should be able to release it in month of May. I might time it to release on the same day as the book 1, but we will see about it.

Month of Dec: Release month and New Planning month

 Last month of the year is always different than others. For some its taxes, and for some its the unfinished resolutions, and for some its holidays. The month might be different for you, but for me it was month of release.

Getting back to update on writing. I finished the year with accounting my words each day, and only one day after I started( that was on 6 Jan 2021) had zero words.

For word count wise it was a good month. I've finished the 5th book, and it would be with the editor by end of Jan. It was the longest book in the series (longer than book 2).

December word count comes to 65263. Yearly count comes to 647934.

The first post of the year 2021 I wrote that I wanted to write 1 million words and I wrote more than half of it, and I'm happy about it.

For 2022 I'll write the same goal of 1 million words written, and this time I plan to achieve it.
